Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 26-06-01
Status: Draft scaffold for accessibility/legal review. This statement should be reconciled with actual ModMount.io browser testing before pilot or launch.
MODMOUNT LLC (“ModMount,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to making ModMount.io reasonably accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies.
Accessibility work is practical, ongoing, and test-driven. We cannot guarantee a perfect experience for every user, device, browser, or assistive-technology combination, but we intend to reduce barriers over time.
Accessibility Standard
ModMount.io strives to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA on a commercially reasonable basis.
WCAG is a technical standard for making web content more accessible. Level AA is a common target for business websites and applications. ModMount does not claim full conformance at this time.
Current status: Partially conformant.
“Partially conformant” means some parts of ModMount.io are expected to meet many WCAG Level AA criteria, while other parts may still contain issues that limit access for some users.
Measures We Intend To Use
Where practical, ModMount.io is built and reviewed with:
- Semantic HTML and a logical heading structure.
- Responsive layouts that preserve readable content.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Sufficient color contrast for key text and controls.
- Visible focus states for keyboard navigation.
- Keyboard-operable links, buttons, dialogs, forms, and navigation.
- Labels, instructions, and helpful error messages for forms.
- Clear page titles and predictable navigation.
- Reduced reliance on color alone to communicate state.
- Automated accessibility checks where useful.
- Manual keyboard checks for important routes and workflows.
Known Limitations And Review Areas
ModMount.io is still under active development. Known review areas include:
- Multi-step signup and onboarding flows.
- Protected dashboard tables, filters, dialogs, and action menus.
- Widget previews and public embedded widgets.
- Provider connection and OAuth flows.
- Generated images, reports, and downloadable assets.
- Third-party checkout, support, provider, and embedded experiences.
- Future Intercom support surfaces.
Third-party services may not fully meet ModMount’s accessibility goals. Where possible, we will help users complete tasks through another reasonable channel and raise significant issues with providers.
Compatibility Goals
ModMount.io aims to work reasonably well with current versions of major browsers and operating systems, including:
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Safari
- Edge
- macOS
- Windows
- iOS
- Android
Accessibility testing should consider common assistive technologies such as VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, TalkBack, screen magnification tools, voice recognition software, and keyboard-only navigation.
